Dr. Dee Bonney Explains

Who DOES Benefit from IV Therapy?

It’s not difficult to realize that many people live in a place where I have been. Where you have more than enough calorie consumption but still suffer from inadequate micronutrient intake. This is a state of nutritional mediocrity. When we don’t have enough magnesium, calcium, iron, CoQ 10, manganese, and selenium and other micronutrients we WILL have symptoms [low energy, brain fog, muscle aches, inflammation, etc]. For these individuals, IV nutritional therapy may cause significant improvement in their health because the body starts getting vitamins and minerals that it is lacking.

Most people have enough nutrition that they are not malnourished to the point of having a disease from lack of an essential vitamin or mineral. And, calories in the United States are beyond plentiful. But, there is a large chasm between a disease state and functioning optimally.

How long does the treatment usually take?

Expect to spend about a hour in the office. Give or take  a little time depending on if this is your first time and you need to fill out some paperwork

Why is IV therapy so effective?

When you’re receiving IV vitamins you are bypassing your gut and receiving what your body craves directly into your blood system.

Can anyone receive IV nutritional therapy?

Individuals suffering from chronic kidney or liver disease may require additional evaluation prior to IV therapy. Due to our kidney’s and liver filtering and metabolizing toxins and fluids it’s important that their function be checked if necessary to make sure that the infusions can nourish your body appropriately.
