Why
Medication Assisted Treatment
Buprenorphine works by binding to the same receptors in the brain that opioids bind to, but it produces less of a euphoric effect than full opioid agonists like heroin or oxycodone. This means that it can help to reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms without producing the same level of addiction.
So, when your opioid receptors are covered, you’re no longer fighting cravings and you can focus on your family, your career, and healing from what led you down the path of addiction to begin with.

FAQ
Are you going to beat me over the head with the Bible?
Nope. We just aren’t shy in sharing what we believe (I mean, it’s in our name). But, with that said, we’ve had people from all walks of life bless our doors and have had and continue to have wonderful conversations about faith, addiction, and this broken world. So, if what you’ve tried before hasn’t worked for you, may you need something or someone different.
Do I have to be on Suboxone (Buprenorphine) forever?
Shh!! This is a terrible business model so don’t tell our landlord, but no. Our goal is to get you out out of MAT as soon as you are ready.
Say what?! Our goal is to give you the tools, as in this medicine, buprenorphine with accountability, plus great groups so you get to the root cuase of your addiction and you’re back on your feet, sober, fully recovered ready to tackle whatever life throughs at you without reaching for an opioid.
"But you don't understand what I'm going through..."
Let us introduce you to Dr. Dee Bonney. The reason why AlphaOmega Wellness started in 2018. He too had an opioid addiction almost 20 years ago. He too had to take suboxone. He too knows what withdrawal has felt like. He too knows what’s it like to have to put your life back together after the consequences of addiction. He too knows what it’s like to fight cravings. He will be the first to tell you it’s not always easy, but recovery is always worth it.
