Let us be straight about it. We are in Greenwood, south of Indianapolis. From Carmel or Fishers that is the whole metro, and on a bad afternoon it is a haul. People do it anyway, and here is what makes it work.
It is six infusions over two to three weeks, not an appointment every week for a year. There is an end date. Most Saturday mornings are open, which turns out to be the single biggest thing for people driving down from the north side. And you need a ride home after every infusion regardless, so whoever is driving you is making the trip either way.

No. IV ketamine for depression is used off label, so insurers class it as experimental. That is the whole category, not an AlphaOmega decision. We do not bill insurance at all.
What are the side effects of IV ketamine therapy?
During the infusion most people notice a floaty, dreamlike feeling. Nausea, mild blood pressure changes and grogginess are the common ones, and they clear the same day. Someone is with you and monitoring the whole time.
How quickly will I feel results from IV ketamine therapy?
Some people notice a shift within hours of the first infusion. For others it builds across the series. The neuroplastic changes are cumulative, which is why it is six infusions and not one.
Am I a good candidate for IV ketamine therapy?
