The next opening is in five weeks. The visit is seven minutes. You get a referral instead of an answer, and the portal message you sent on Tuesday is still sitting there on Friday.
None of that is your doctor being careless. It is what happens when a practice has to see thirty people a day to keep the lights on. We built this one so that math does not apply.
WHAT YOU GET
What the membership includes
Direct primary care works on a simple trade. You pay the practice directly, the practice answers to you, and nobody has to book thirty visits a day to make the model work.
What that buys is time. Longer appointments, same week when you need one, and a provider who has read your chart before walking in.
- ✓Office visits, however many you need. One a month or fifteen. It does not change what you pay.
- ✓Message your provider directly. Secure messaging through Spruce, at our office number. Not a portal queue that answers on Friday. The person who knows your chart.
- ✓In person or telehealth. Whichever the problem actually calls for that day.
- ✓Testing while you wait. Strep and UTI checks done here, so you are not making a second trip for an answer we already have.
- ✓Labs at our cash price. If bloodwork goes out to LabCorp you can run it through your insurance or use our cash pricing, which is usually the cheaper of the two.
What it costs

First member of the household.

Each additional family member.
That is the number. Labs sent out are the only thing billed separately, and you pick how to pay for those.
This sits alongside the brain health side of the practice, it does not replace it. Plenty of members never come to us for anything else, and that is fine. If you are here about depression, anxiety or PTSD, that work lives on the IV ketamine therapy page.
Self-pay, the same as everything else we do. We do not bill insurance, so there is no claim, no prior authorization, and no surprise bill. You can still use your insurance elsewhere for labs, imaging and specialists.

Direct primary care
Do I still need insurance?
Yes, and you should keep it. Membership covers the care you get from us. Insurance is what covers the things we cannot do in this office, like hospital care, imaging, specialists and most prescriptions at the pharmacy counter.
Is this instead of my current doctor?
It can be, and for most members it is. If you would rather keep the doctor you have and use us for access and continuity, that works too.
How fast can I actually be seen?
Quickly, and that is the whole reason the panel stays small. We are not going to hand you an opening five weeks out for something bothering you today. If it is urgent, say so and we work it in.
Do you take my insurance?
No. We do not bill insurance for anything in this practice. That is what lets a visit run as long as it needs to instead of as long as a billing code allows.
Can I message you between visits?
Yes. You message us through Spruce, our secure messaging system, at our office number. Not a portal, not a phone tree, and not a message that sits until Friday. You will usually hear back the same day.
